DEPIGMENTING EFFECT AMPOULES, 20*2 ml
These ampoules concentrate are rich in arbutin, liquorice extract and vitamin C.
These active substances efficiently inhibit tyrosinase activity and therefore melanin production.
Arbutin:
· It is a extrait of the leaves of the bearberry, also known as the “bear’s grape”, very popular in Japan and throughout Asia.
· This plant is used to depigment the skin, soften the “mask of pregnancy”, melasmas and spots associated to sunburns thanks to its impressive tyrosinase inhibition action.
· It is less toxic and better tolerated than hydroquinone.
In combination with vitamin C, its depigmenting power is strengthened.
Liquorice:
- A plant rich in glabridin which inhibits melanogenesis through the inhibition of isoenzymes T1 and T3 of tyrosinase, which are at the source of the synthesis of melanin.
- Glabridin, as shown in a number of studies, is 15 times more active than kojic acid in skin depigmenting and almost twice as active as hydroquinone.
- It is, therefore, a natural active substance which combines high inhibition of melanogenesis with a great tolerance for all skin types.
- It also has healing and anti-inflammatory properties.
Indispensable in cases of melasma, post pregnancy spots or spots associated to sunburns.
